Has anyone had a privacy fence put up by someone that you recomend? We really need to get a fence up but I dont want to go with anyone that will just screw me over or that sucks. Thanks ladies! 

I can tell u dont go with Seegars fencce, they quoted us $575 and that was for about 80 ft of chain link and we had 95% of the materials that they would use. My husband and his friend actually put up our chain link this past saturday and took them maybe 4 hours. Also we were reccoemened Carolina Fence by a person in housing office and they never returened our phone call and then wouldnt answer when we called back the 2nd time. 

Dont use whoever did KME's fence.. (that's all I have to contribute) 

You can get an estimate through Lowe's. They charge you, but if you choose them they apply that to the cost of the fence. You can also call around and get estimates. We did that when we needed to put up our fence. We ended up doing it ourselves because it was cheaper...lots cheaper! 

OH i dont know if u live on the base but u cant use lowes, found that out the hard way. Lowes can only cement the poles into the ground and one base you cant do that :( 

Can you even have a privacy fence on base at all? (i dont live on base so I have no clue) But I think CK just bought a house out in town.. Or I think I read that she did.. 

I havn't seen anyone with a privacy fence on base, could be because no one wants to put that much money into a not so permanent fence, but I'm going to ask if we decide to fence in our back yard for the kiddies (even though they will never be outside without us we're paranoid. I don't even like adah upstairs playing when we are down stairs. 

I think you can it just cant be permenant and it can only be i believe 5ft or less. I got 80ft of chain link and a gate and a few poles off lejeune yard sales right before we moved here and that is what we used but there is a little 4 ft long section of fence i am thinking about putting something up for a little more privacy since u can see right into our patio from the neighboors patio 

We did buy a house, so our fence will be here to stay. Ive call Assurance, but they wont return my calls. Im just wanting to know who people have used that had a really bad experiance or an awesome one! Thanks ladies! 

oh yeah lowes offers lifetime warrenty and if memory is correct military discount. 

We are getting a fence installed today. We called Lowes, Carolina Fence, and Coastal Fence. Lowe's quoted us 2100.00. Carolina and Coastal Fence quoted us 1100.00. I couldn't believe the difference. Plus, we had to pay Lowe's 35.00 just to come out and get an estimate. That was 35.00 down the drain!
