I just got a bill for my stitches, wtf. 

yes its just a statement they cover everything. I got all my bills when my daughter was born and went into tricare on base and they told me its just a statement but it was paid 

They covered my trip to the er, maybe you should call them? 

You would they they would considering they shut down their ER. That is stupid, I would call them. 

They do. Does it say anywhere "This is not a bill." They will send you a notice of what it cost and what tri care covered. are you prime or standard?

you need to call tri care. as long as you're prime, you should not owe anything.

Tricare says they cover it all so I'm calling new bern and telling them I'm not paying this. 

they do that for the dentist for my cleanings. i ignore it. lol i know i dont owe. 

. as long as you're prime, you should not owe anything. yup we got what we thought was a bill,when i had to go to the er,after ucc was closed when i broke my little toes. only thing we had to pay was like 9 bucks for the xrays. and since being put on prime,the times ive had to go after ucc was closed,they only send the bill of what everything cost without us having to pay anything.

Yeah, as long as you are prime you owe nothing. Because we don't have a military facility in the area with a ER. I still get bills from some of my trips to the ER, MOST (but not all since ER visits are billed through different dpts or physicians) say I don't owe, but an occassional one says you owe X amount. But I got a letter from tricare too stating what they covered and it was for everything. 

oh by the way.. tricare takes a LONG time to pay. So you might keep seeing the same bill. Like MY OB I still show a balance on because they havn't paid yet and I've been going there since Dec. 

So my son brings the mail inside after he gets off the bus and what's in it other than a bill from the ER for my son. (had to have a staple in his head right before new years) So I call tricare and they have managed to switch my son from prime to standard for no reason. we haven't moved or changed anything. so how does this happen? no clue! the mysteries of tri care! :) 

I have gotten stuff like that before, before, but somewhere on it it would say its not an actual bill!
